...My fingertips began to tingle as a soft energy, like champagne bubbles, gradually enveloped them. Instinctively, I turned out my palms. Before I could flinch, the creature had softly taken my hand.
Other forest creatures were moving amongst my friends. The filmy shape of this small wild creature now walked alongside me, guiding me though the darkness with its ethereal light, gently holding my hand.
They floated along beside us, around us, and though us. I could tell from the gasps of surpise around me in the darkness that the creatures had also made physical contact with my companions.
The forest spirits had come in a group. They were short - no more than four feet tall - and seemed naked except for the silvery glow that shimmered all around them. Their energy felt like the wisdom of children. These shy, compassionate creatures were now blanketing us in a cocoon of sweet, innocent love and protection...
